Updated this week

To find more information on Agent subscriptions, refer to this help article:

Now, you can easily enable or disable Android/Zebra, Windows, and Mac agents directly from the UXI dashboard, allowing you to control your subscription usage.

A UXI subscription is required to access the dashboard and manage agents.

  • Agents do not enforce subscriptions—subscription validation happens at the dashboard level.

Request this via UXI chat support or email at auxi@hpe.com.

Note: UXI is a vendor-neutral platform and works with any infrastructure provider.

You can now easily enable or disable Android, Windows and Mac agents directly from the dashboard, allowing you to control your subscription usage.

Navigate to Settings > Agents.
You will also see subscriptions that are available for you to assign to more agents at the top.
Total agents: Total number of agents - Windows, macOS, and Android.

Enabled agents: Agents that are enabled and consuming a subscription.

Disabled agents: Agents that are disabled and are not consuming a subscription.

Assigned agents: Agents assigned to the hierarchy group.

Unassigned agents: Agents not assigned to the hierarchy group.

You can enable or disable the agent by selecting the check box in front of one or multiple agents at a time.

Once you disable the agent, the macOS agent app screen will say "Failed to upload test results" and will stop sending data to the UXI cloud dashboard.

Note: The newly provisioned agent is enabled by default if you have enough subscriptions. If you don't have enough subscriptions, you will see the following error message.

Caveats:

  1. Once the Android agent is disabled, the Android Agent app screen will not indicate it's disabled.

  2. Once the agent is disabled, you can verify the test results have been stopped by navigating to the last 1 hr view; however, the agent will still show "Green" on the dashboard. This is expected behavior, and it will turn "Grey" after 90 minutes.
