Alerts are the notifications that you will see on the dashboard when there is an error found on the network.  On the Alerts page, you can do a couple of things that will help with the administration and reporting capabilities pertaining to your sensor.

Muting Issues

If you are receiving alerts that you know is an error that you are working on, or you think it is a false value, you can mute them.

There are two methods for muting issues. Mutes are company-wide, not user-specific. Any issues that are muted will be muted for all users with access to the dashboard.

Muting from the Main Dashboard

To mute alerts for an issue from the main dashboard, use the following steps:

  1. On the main dashboard, hover over the title of the entity you want to mute and click the bell icon.

  2. Click on the banner that appears at the top of the page.

  3. Edit the mute details.

  4. Click the Save button.

Muting from Alerts Settings

To mute alerts from the settings page, use the following steps:

  1. Click the Settings Icon

  2. If you are on the home dashboard page, you can access the Settings page by hitting the "s" key.

  3. Click on the Alerts tab.

  4. Click on the + Add Mute button.

  5. Edit the mute details.

  6. Click the Save button.

Reports show the weekly statistics on what happened on your network.  You can turn on weekly reports to receive a detailed report you can use for management reporting purposes to show all the activities of the week.
