Export Settings for Sensors, Networks and Groups

You can export network settings, sensor settings and if you are using the groups and sensors alpha feature, you can also export the hierarchy settings as well. This allows you to identify differences in configuration or use as a basis for your own inventory and ticket management workflows.

You can find the export button at the top of the settings pages for Wireless Networks, Wired Networks and Sensors and Agents. The hierarchy export is only available for dashboards using the groups and sensors alpha feature.

Once selected, specify the email address where you would like the export sent, then select Submit. You will then receive an email to the address previously specified from Aruba UXI Reports reporting@capenetworks.com. If you did not receive the report after 30 minutes, check your spam folder and email provider to ensure the email is not getting filtered or blocked. The email will contain a link to download the csv formatted export. The link is valid for 1 hour.

Troubleshooting:

If you did not receive the email, ensure the email address you entered is correct and that you are able to receive emails from reporting@capenetworks.com. The email may also be in your spam folder.

If the download link in the email is not clickable, this may be an indication that your email client is not loading the email in its entirety. Look for a message at the top of the email like the following and follow the steps to open the email in a web browser. In the web browser, you should be able to download the export.

If you click the link and you get an error that the access token is expired, please generate a new report. It is currently only valid for one hour but will soon be extended to seven days.
