Overview of UXI Subscription Types:
There are four types of UXI subscriptions: UXI-Sensor-Cloud, UXI-Sensor-LTE, UXI-Agent-Cloud, and UXI-Zebra-Agent-Cloud. The subscription type required depends on the sensor/agent you plan to use.
The UXI hardware sensor – a device positioned close to end users that measures the experience from the sensor's perspective. A UXI-Sensor-Cloud subscription is required for every hardware sensor. There are also some hardware sensor models with managed cellular capabilities to help with initial onboarding and report power outages. These cellular-capable sensor models also require a UXI-Sensor-LTE subscription.
The UXI Agent – a software tool that runs on the end-user device itself to measure network and application reachability from the perspective of the user device. Agents require either a UXI-Agent-Cloud subscription or UXI-Zebra-Agent-Cloud subscription per agent.
Get a Free UXI Eval Subscription:
When you are ready to get started with UXI, provision UXI on your GreenLake Cloud Platform workspace. As soon as you provision a new dashboard on your GreenLake Cloud Platform workspace, UXI evaluation subscriptions are added automatically. The evaluation subscriptions cover 50 UXI sensors and 150 UXI agents for 90 days from the time you provision UXI.
The subscriptions for UXI hardware sensors are located in the GreenLake Cloud Platform under Devices -> Device Subscriptions.
The subscriptions for UXI agents are located in GreenLake Cloud Platform under Service Subscriptions.
WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE the UXI eval keys when they expire. You may want to extend them in the future. We cannot add new evaluation subscriptions; we can only extend the evaluation subscirptions you were issued.
Extend a UXI Eval Subscription:
Go to your GreenLake Cloud Platform workspace and select Manage Workspace. Copy down your workspace name and workspace ID.
If you want to extend cloud or cellular subscriptions for UXI hardware sensors, locate the subscriptions in GreenLake under Devices -> Device Subscriptions. For each UXI subscription you want to extend, copy the Subscription Key and Subscription Type.
If you want to extend subscriptions for UXI agents, locate the subscriptions under Service Subscriptions. For each UXI service subscription you want to extend, copy the Subscription Key and Subscription Type.
You may need to adjust the filters in GreenLake to show expired subscirptions if you provisioned UXI on your workspace more than 90 days ago.
Once you have your workspace and subscription details, share them with your HPE representative. HPE employees can complete a form to extend the subscription on your behalf.
