Reactivating an Expired User Experience Insight Account

UXI is now available for new customers on the Greenlake Cloud Platform (GLP). Check out the article Getting Started with User Experience Insight on the HPE Greenlake Cloud Platform and the Frequently Asked Questions for information.

For new dashboards on the Greenlake Cloud Platform, subscription keys are added to the Greenlake Cloud Platform and are no longer added within the UXI application. In addition, in GLP you assign a UXI cloud subscription to each hardware sensor.

Some of the screens and buttons below apply only to existing UXI dashboards, not to UXI dashboards on GLP.

1. Managing Subscriptions on an Expired Dashboard

Should you not renew your subscriptions prior to the grace period expiring, you will be locked out of your UXI dashboard. A valid Cloud and/or Cellular (LTE) subscription will be required to reactivate your dashboard.


To renew your subscriptions, please follow the Subscription Expiry and Renewal Process.

Once you receive your User Experience Insight subscriptions you can add your subscriptions to your locked account. Please click the "Manage Subscriptions" button, as per the screenshot below to add your subscriptions and reactivate your account.

1. Reactivating an Expired UXI Dashboard

1.a. Adding the Sufficient Number of Subscriptions on a Locked Account

Once you click the "Manage Subscriptions" button, you will be directed to your subscriptions page. Thereafter, you can add your subscriptions by clicking the "+Add Subscriptions" button, as per the screenshot below.

Thereafter, your account will be unlocked, as per the screenshot below. The "dashboard locked due to unresolved subscription issues" notice will no longer be on your dashboard.

1.b. Insufficient Subscriptions on an Expired (Locked) Account

Should you not add the required number of subscriptions, you will be notified on your "Subscriptions" page, as per the screenshot below. Please hover over the "RESOLVE" button, to determine the number of subscriptions you have to add to be fully subscribed, as per the screenshot below. 

If you add insufficient subscriptions to your account, you will also be notified on your dashboard's home page, as per the screenshot below. To remove the banner, you must add the required UXI subscription(s) to your account.

Should you require assistance adding your User Experience Insight subscription(s) to your account, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Success team. We will require your HPE order number or User Experience Insight subscription key(s) to locate your subscription(s) and add them to your account.
